This is the most widely used Indian chutney that goes well with starters like tandoori chicken, kababs etc to veg snacks and chaat items like dahi bhalla, aalo tikki , tandoori paneer, veg & non veg rolls etc.
1 Cup Fresh Mint Leaves (Pudina)
1 Cup Fresh Coriander Leaves (Dhania Leaves)
6 – 8 Cloves Garlic
1/2 Inch Fresh Ginger, peeled and sliced
1 Large Onion, Sliced
2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
1 Tsp Sugar
4 to 6 Green Chillies
Yogurt – Few Spoons.
Salt to Taste
Combine all the ingredients and grind to a smooth paste in a blender using very little water or yogurt.
Serve with Indian main course, starters, snacks or chaat.
